Not for the faint at heart!
Lately i've been attracted by ferocious pieces of jewelry, like those made by Brooklyn based line, Beetle and Flor. Christine hand casts all her skulls in raw porcelain and at times affixes them with 18K gold teeth. They truly are a unique item that is definitely not for the faint at heart. Nice, huh?
You can find them here.

Casual (or not) friday
This skirt was a fantastic ebay find. See, if you look from a little far, you think it is a normal lace skirt, like all other lace skirts. But, if you look closer, the embroidery and the lace take the form of cute animals. And cars. And other things as well... So the previous elegant skirt, it's not really that formal, but ...err... casual, no?
* Moschino skirt
* Nissa (romanian brand) shirt
* Zara studded booties

Boots and skirt
So i feel the need to repet myself: best buy this winter!! I mean the boots, of course. I can wear them with everything, and that's exactly what i did these last couple of days. Skirts, casual dresses, black dresses, leggings, jeans, pants, leather pants, leather dresses, everything works well with Camilla's Skovgaard boots. I think is because the leather is quite posh and fancy (and buttery i might add), and then the saw sole is something completely different.
Last evening i begun sorting my skirts (and i ended with only 2 skirts in the charity pile - i like them too much to part with them). And i came across my Comme des Garcons for H&M deconstructed skirt, an impulse buy at the launch (cause i was able to snatch one durring the mayhem). But for one year i had no idea how to wear it. You see, in order to rock with my personal style, it needed something more. A pair of killer boots. A pair of Camilla Skovgaard's (did you know she worked with Matthew Williamson? No wonder i like her shoes so much...)
* Comme des Garcons for H&M deconstructed skirt
* Camilla Skovgaard saw sole boots
* Karen Millen green cardigan
* Zara white shirt

My new coat
After 8 days in a single pink coat, i felt the need for a non-color coat. And then i saw this coat by Jasper Cornan at Debenhams, on sale 50% off.
Worn with a Zara leather dress and Camilla Skovgaard boots (best buy this winter, extremely comfortable despite the height - they are on sale 60% off at net-a-porter.com!).

Outfit for a trip to New York
This NYE we went to New York for a week of celebrating, visiting NY museums and touristic attractions and shopping sales. It was a wonderful week, but outfits-wise quite boring, cause it was extremely cold, so everyday i ended with all my sweaters on, under the warm pink coat i had with me.
Barneys window display
* pink coat, Red Herring at Debenhams
* jeans: Zara & Almost Famous (talk about variation - 2 different pair of jeans!!)
* scarf, Missoni
* boots DKNY from shopbop.com
* and (OMG!) 2 bags: Longchamp tattoo and a small pink bag i bought from TJMaxx (Ferchi is the brand - do you know anything about it) just because the other one was to big to carry around all day
Central Park
Empire State Building
The Liberty Statue
Ellis Island
And if you want to see an example of an outfit under the pink coat, here you go - a bunch of sweaters layered one on top of the other, just to keep me warm:

New Year's Eve
I know i last posted here more than a month ago. But december was cold outside and crazy at work, and then it was Christmas, and then i went to New York for NYE. And now i am back, and the weather is nice again.
Before starting with regular outfits, let me post on outfit from NYE. It was extremely cold, and i was in peep toe pumps, but we were on a dinner cruise in New York, so it didn't really matter that i was cold, so cold....
* Mango lace dress (last minute buy from mangooutlet.com)
* Miu Miu pumps
* Jimmy Choo for H&M fur vest
