Fall outerwear

It is that time of the year again, when summer migrates into fall (they said this morning at the radio that we should expect temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius this weekend in Romania), and i start to seriously think about outerwear.

Three styles give me the eye this fall:

1. The peacoat jacket

Once military topper, now on every designer catwalk... Designers like Marc Jacobs (always a fan of peacoats), Chloe and Michael Kors tried their hands in creating double-breasted peacoats with a hint of originality, either if it is the buttons, the cut or even the color (the Miu Miu's sky blue or lipstick red like the short one from Camilla and Marc - see net-a-porter.com for more styles)

2. The "in diagonal buttons" coat

I've already posted here on shopaholic.ro the A-line, with diagonal buttons trench from Emilio Pucci, as part of my favorite fall looks. Since i saw that outfit, i am looking for this in-diagonal buttons thing in a jacket everywhere, i find it to be a nice twist to an otherwise classic looking jacket.

3. Babydoll / empire cut jackets

It was the logical step: babydoll tops during summer, babydoll coats once fall arrived.
Here, my top favorites are from Stella McCartney:
