Fall 2007 fashion preview

Most of the designers already launched their collection for the next cold season, and some of the elite online shops already feature some of the clothes.
So let's take a peak of this fall trends.

The lady-like, elegant clothes, to my happiness, are still in trend, so we will see a lot of dresses with well defined waist, similar to precedent seasons.

Black silk faille cocktail dress with a separate net underskirt from Oscar de la Renta, with a round neck and 2 slid side pockets at the front.

Michal Kors's ivory high neck crepe sleeveless shift dress.

Black puffa coat from Burberry London.

Other trends i noticed:

THE neck:

Neck tie
It appears to me that the neck is an important part of the body this next season, and the designers played with a lot of different collars. The neck tie seems to be a important detail for next season wardrobe, so take a look at those tops:

Catherine Maladrino pink blouse with a neck tie.

Not exactly a neck tie, but similar, i simply love this sweater from Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti.

Also from Alberta Ferreti, but this time the main collection, this tie neck coat in black is just lovely, simple, yet extremely elegant and feminine.

Cowl neck
Opposite from the neck tie here it is the cowl neck, different, but yet to draw attention to your neck line.

Cowl neck sweater from McQ

Ecru elongated alpaca sweater with oversized cowl neck from Chloe.

Babydoll clothes

The babydoll tops so loved this summer will make room for babydoll style jackets and coats for this fall. Bellow some examples that i like (especially the See by ChloƩ grey one).

Babydoll style black coat and jacket, both from Miu Miu.

Mushroom double-breasted cotton babydoll jacket with princess collar, See by ChloƩ.

Dresses
Tunic dress will continue to be a hit, and the t-shirt dress from summer will transform in the sweater dress for this fall.

What do you think will be the must-have styles for this fall?
